Layers is interested in the different layers that make up human identity: those that are visible, those that remain buried, and those that gradually appear over time.
Through layers of textures, materials, and tones, the work evokes the multiple reliefs we carry within us. Some layers appear dark or rugged, others brighter and more serene, but all contribute to the same inner construction.
Natural landscapes have strongly influenced this work:… geological strata, sunsets, the ocean, and variations of the sky become metaphors for human emotional states.
