About this artwork
The universe is something mysterious, magical, infinite.
The universe is our home, but at the same time it is the home of all galaxies, of our solar system. The universe is a superposition of worlds, of spaces, of solid, gaseous, and liquid elements. It is a boundless space where the planets, comets, stars, and the enormous voids that compose it are suspended in eternal equilibrium, separated by billions of kilometers, thousands of light-years.… A space so vast that it is difficult to comprehend it without knowing where it begins and ends.
Once I finished my first collection of collages, I decided to title it “Behind Universe”.
Colors of light and shadow, of days and nights, juxtaposed in numerous layers of recycled wrapping paper colored with pastels, acrylics, watercolors, pencils, and gold leaf. From the largest, Jupiter, to the smallest, Pluto.
Try taking a journey beyond the Universe. Try going “Behind the Universe.”
This is Luna.

« What I love about my paintings is that they invite you to stop, to step out of reality for a moment and lose yourself in the colors. I want my painting to take effect slowly, I want the colors to strike the soul of the viewer, to bring light, a sense of freedom and energy into their environments and their lives. »
The vibrant use of color and its ability to touch the soul of the observer are the beating heart of the research that has always animated the work of Thia Path, an Italian-Argentine artist. Her works, deeply inspired by the colors and shades of Mark Rothko, have been welcomed with admiration in exhibitions in Italy, Switzerland, France and the USA. Her canvases, a mix of abstraction and figuration, vibrate with colors that not only speak, but weave an intimate dialogue with the soul of the observer. Thia Path tirelessly explores the boundaries of her artistic techniques, trying to touch the unconscious. Her works are a journey through nature, memories, dreams, experiences and emotions, a visual odyssey that challenges and enchants.
