MANHATTAN MAGIC Images from an apparently empty New York: A metropole that suddenly looks like the world have stoped turning and that time stands still. But it's just an illusion like so many these days. I have lived in many cities in the world during my life apart from New York. Many years in Paris, London, Berlin, Barcelona, Venice, Stockholm, Warsaw, Rome, Milano. But Only Manhattan gives me that sensational feeling of home and adventure at the… same time. When I came to NY for the first time in 1968 some parts were dangerous to visit at night. I remember walking down in Bowery and up in Harlem and being scared. Nowadays it's epidemics you have to be scared of. Manhattan is and has always been like a classy lady, seductive, beautiful in all seasons, and yes one will eventually fall in love with her. Thomas Dellert
