About this artwork
In „Himmelsspiegel“ lade ich den Betrachter ein, in die unermessliche Weite zwischen Himmel und Erde einzutauchen. Durch meinen intensiven Einsatz von Burning Points entstehen Lichtstrahlen, die wie Sonnenstrahlen emporsteigen und die Verbindung von Vergangenheit und Zukunft spüren lassen. In diesem Werk verschmelzen Licht, Asche und Farbe zu einem Zustand zwischen Werden und Vergehen. Ich arbeite mit Feuer – nicht als Zerstörung, sondern als schöpferische…
Kraft. Wie ein Spiegel fängt meine pyrographische Landschaft den Moment ein, in dem sich die Elemente berühren und transformieren. Jeder Brennpunkt ist ein stiller Zeuge meines Dialogs mit dem Unkontrollierbaren – ein Balanceakt zwischen Hitze, Rauch, Pigment und Intuition. Was zurückbleibt, ist mehr als ein Bild: Es ist ein flüchtiger Abdruck innerer Weite, offen für unendliche Deutungen.

Born in Austria, I discovered my passion for the art of engraving and steel engraving early on, a passion later expanded through the transformative power of fire in my Burningpictures. Using mixed media on linen, wood, and ceramics, I employ fire as a central design element. In my Burningpictures, I reveal the hidden secrets of nature and invite the viewer to experience the ever-changing interplay of light, color, and texture. The fire creates a magical visibility of the invisible—a powerful and liberating transformation.
