About this artwork
„The Soul’s Fragments“ ist ein modernes Stillleben aus meinem Zyklus „Burning Lightobjects“. Mit diesem Werk erforsche ich die Dualität des Menschseins: Zerbrechlichkeit und Resilienz, Licht und Schatten, Vergangenheit und Gegenwart.
Im Zentrum steht eine geteilte Barockkanne – eine Hälfte intakt, die andere in Scherben zerbrochen und in einem Kreis arrangiert. Für mich symbolisiert dieser Kreis Einheit und Verbundenheit, selbst in der Zerbrochenheit.… Fluoreszierende Schläuche ergänzen Schnabel und Henkel und stehen für Transformation und Wiederaufbau.
Der Schriftzug „SOUL“, geformt aus fluoreszierenden Schläuchen, wird durch Schwarzlicht und wechselnde LED-Farben beleuchtet. Diese dynamischen Farben drücken die Bandbreite menschlicher Emotionen aus. Eingebrannte Schlagbuchstaben und blaue Muster im Hintergrund verbinden historische Ästhetik mit moderner Technologie.
Dieses Werk reflektiert meine zentralen Themen: Licht und Schatten, Wandel und die transformative Kraft der Kunst.
