About this artwork
In my watercolor painting, I explore the dynamic and unpredictable movement of nature. The flowing, blurred lines and bold color palette of ochre, brown, green and speckles of blue reflect both the gentle beauty and wild unpredictability of the natural world. This composition is intended to invite the viewer to feel and reflect the constant change and raw energy of the earth, while creating a sense of vibrancy and organic connectedness within their… own space.
« Art is much more to me than just a job or a passion. It is like a friend, an advisor and a guide. Art is simply my life. »
Thomas Hain, a visual artist who focuses on painting and was inspired by a formative encounter with art in Italy. He experiments with the glazing technique on heavy, self-stretched canvases and creates relief-like surfaces by scratching, rolling and spatulas that create a tangible tension between form and color. His works radiate a dynamic calm and convey the balance between destruction and creation, which transports the viewer into the unique moment of creation.
