In my watercolor, I captured the fleeting beauty of a summer wind blowing through colors. The smooth, blurred transitions and vibrant splashes of color reflect the lightness and freedom I feel when I think of warm days. This work is intended to evoke a sense of calm and happiness in the viewer, as if a gentle breeze were blowing through their home.

Thomas Hain, a visual artist who focuses on painting and was inspired by a formative encounter with art in Italy. He experiments with the glazing technique on heavy, self-stretched canvases and creates relief-like surfaces by scratching, rolling and spatulas that create a tangible tension between form and color.
