In Between Breath and Silence, I explore a moment of quiet suspension—where the body softens and the mind settles into something more inward. I wanted to capture that space just between inhale and exhale, where everything feels both still and alive at once.
The figure turns inward, her posture protective yet open, as if she’s listening to something beneath the surface. The landscape around her holds warmth and movement, but it doesn’t overwhelm.…
Throughout the Becoming Light series, I return to these in-between spaces—moments where transformation isn’t loud or visible, but quietly unfolding. This piece sits in that stillness, where nothing is forced, and yet everything is shifting. It’s about trust, about allowing, and about finding clarity in the quiet spaces we often move past too quickly.
