About this artwork
“Alpine Rush” captures the moment when speed and silence merge. A classic sports car carves its path through the snow-covered mountain landscape – powerful, precise, and yet surrounded by an almost meditative calm. The light refracts off the snow and chrome, while the mountains rise in the background like frozen waves.
From a distance, the scene appears photorealistic, but upon closer inspection, a multi-layered, vibrant surface is revealed – traces… of movement, structure, and depth.
The digital composition is created based on the artist's own photographs and then transferred to canvas using a specially developed transfer technique. In several layers, digital precision merges with tactile craftsmanship – a dialogue between technology and nature, between control and freedom.
"Alpine Rush", Mixed media on canvas / stretcher frame, 29 × 29 cm, 2025
