About this artwork
Location: Hvítserkur, Iceland.
It never really gets dark in Iceland in summer. I will never forget those early mornings when I sat on a cliff above the sea between 3 and 6 a.m., waiting for the right mood for the picture and watching the ‘elephant’ drink. At that time of day in that place, the world seemed timelessly peaceful and in harmony.
