About this artwork
In this effervescent work, I have merged acrylic and spray paint to capture the ephemeral essence of human encounter. Semi-abstract and figurative, navigating towards expressionism, my work on paper evokes conversation and intimate emotion, while leaving space for interpretation. It's a visual dance where bright colors meet bold shapes, infusing your space with dynamic energy and introspective reflection.

Tropel is a French painter who hails from Rouen and has exhibited nationally as well as in Luxembourg and Belgium. His works are oriented towards suggestion and his approach is focused on the language and expression of the body. Inspired by calligraphy, he translates movement, gestures and lines through the deformation of the body, in order to extract ‘the essential’. Tropel works mainly with acrylic paints, as they challenge him to work in a quick and spontaneous manner.
