Above Us Only Sky directs our gaze upwards – to the infinite expanse of the sky, which has always been a symbol of freedom and vastness. Against a deep, luminous blue, bright cloud formations drift across the image, unfolding a quiet, almost meditative presence.
The softly sculpted clouds appear to move slowly, changing their shape with every glance. An atmosphere of lightness and openness arises between light and shadow, inviting the viewer to… leave everyday life behind for a moment. The minimalist composition draws attention to the beauty of simplicity and the tranquility that can be found in observing the sky.

Germany
Ulrike Isensee, trained at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts, works with both painting and textile art. Her abstract designs incorporate graphic and painterly elements as well as diverse methods and techniques. She draws inspiration from the Bauhaus era, which is reflected in her vibrant work. Her art playfully expresses joy and beauty, giving spaces an unmistakable statement.
