Above Us Only Sky II tells of the magic of a moment when one's gaze wanders to the sky. Against a deep blue, a powerful cloud formation rises on the horizon, while above it, a single, seemingly floating cloud traverses the open space. The minimalist composition focuses attention on the interplay of atmosphere and infinite expanse.
The clouds appear both powerful and ephemeral. They change, dissolve, and constantly reform. In their weightlessness,… they become symbols of the fleeting nature of the moment.
The focus on a few elements creates a calm, contemplative visual effect. The work opens up a space for thoughts, memories, and personal associations, inviting the viewer to pause and appreciate the beauty of simplicity.

Germany
Ulrike Isensee, trained at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts, works with both painting and textile art. Her abstract designs incorporate graphic and painterly elements as well as diverse methods and techniques. She draws inspiration from the Bauhaus era, which is reflected in her vibrant work. Her art playfully expresses joy and beauty, giving spaces an unmistakable statement.
