About this artwork
A dense network of lines, loops, and movements permeates the circular picture plane, reminiscent of streams of thought or invisible connections. At first glance, the composition appears spontaneous and disordered. Upon closer inspection, however, rhythms and relationships between the individual elements reveal themselves. The lines intersect, thicken, and dissolve again, creating a vibrant field of tension. The circle, as a symbol of infinity and… cycles, forms the framework for this visual network. The varying line thicknesses and colored accents lend the work depth and dynamism, inviting the viewer to continually discover new paths and connections.
Order in chaos is a reflection on the complexity of life. It shows that even in apparent disorder, hidden structures exist, and that a unique form of harmony can emerge from diversity, movement, and change.
Ulrike Isensee, trained at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts, works with both painting and textile art. Her abstract designs incorporate graphic and painterly elements as well as diverse methods and techniques. She draws inspiration from the Bauhaus era, which is reflected in her vibrant work. Her art playfully expresses joy and beauty, giving spaces an unmistakable statement.
