About this artwork
I received this acoustic Alhambra guitar as a gift without any accessories, which inspired me to upgrade it.
I designed, milled, sanded, and applied the metal leaf myself.
The milled recesses provide good protection for the metal leaf, which is then coated with protective lacquer.
The paint on the front has been stripped and the wood oiled.
Materials: Wooden guitar, 24-karat gold leaf, 999 silver, rose gold (copper leaf), kit, furniture oil,… bridge made of cow bone, strings, tuning pegs, varnish.
The guitar is playable and the guitar stand is included.
