About this artwork
This ceramic sculpture reflects my fascination with the wild, powerful creatures of nature. With vibrant colors and intricate detail, I wanted to capture the tension and primal energy of the crocodile. It brings dynamic vitality and, at the same time, a mysterious tranquility to any space it enlivens. A piece of the wilderness you can touch!
In this work, I used photographs of a young crocodile from different perspectives to recreate this crocodile… in ceramic (white clay) and fired it at about 1000 degrees.
After that, I painted the crocodile on all sides with special, glossy acrylic paints that cannot flake off.
It should be protected from frost!
