About this artwork
This clay sculpture is a celebration of nature and transience. I wanted to combine the warmth and organic beauty of dried plants with the strength of hand-woven ceramics. The work brings tranquility and a genuine connection to the earth to any room, filling it with a gentle, natural energy that is both timeless and vibrant.
I woven this vase like a basket from ceramic (white clay) and fired it twice with a glaze.
The glossy glaze has an interesting… play of colors, ranging from shimmering silver and bronze to dark blue tones.
The vase is very suitable for branches, dried grasses and flowers.
The hole on the underside allows you to place it over a candle or run a cable for lighting through it, so you can also use it as a lantern.
Price is negotiable!!!
