About this artwork
My research in this series concerns the insertion of reflective metal surfaces within a canvas worked with a pictorial technique.
Within one of the metal surfaces of this work, we can see my image reflected as I am photographing it, during the exhibition at the three-person show "+Energia Nuova" at the Museo Civico di Marino (Rome), from 7 to 22 February 2026. The second surface reflects my installations "Caleidoscopio", also on display, as can… be seen from the photos that show part of the section reserved for my works within the exhibition.

Valter Vari uses acrylics, enamels, and letterpress inks on canvas, fabric, paper, wood, metal, and recycled materials, drawing on his artistic and architectural training in Rome. His techniques range from abstract-informal to minimalist spatial analysis, integrating formal stylizations and experimentation with different media. Each work invites the viewer to perceive new energy and profound harmony, initiating an emotional dialogue with the environment and the viewer.
