About this artwork
The work was created by placing the linen fabric over an ancient stone press used for pressing grapes, and then making a mold with red paint. The resulting shape recalls the layout of Sardinian nuraghi.
The rest of the fabric was worked with gold leaf, giving light and value to this representation of the ancient, one-of-a-kind, buildings that enrich the land of Sardinia.
