About this artwork
A celebration of renewal and energy, this abstract piece channels the riotous beauty of springtime in full bloom. Layers of vibrant hues—fuchsia, orange, cobalt, and deep rose—dance together in a metallic shimmer of copper, gold, and rose gold. “Spring Bouquet” is not a literal depiction, but an emotional response to the rush of colour, scent, and sensation that spring brings after the quiet of winter.
made on solid multiplex panel where the sides… are painted so framing is no need it but could be added.
« My works represent my instinctive colour theory and are a channel to my inner self. »
Vania Bouwmeester Pentcheva is an established Bulgarian artist based in the Netherlands who has exhibited her work nationally, as well as in South Africa. Moved and inspired by nature, including its presence in urban landscapes, she explores her emotions, memories and philosophical thoughts through the composition of abstract paintings full of dynamic shapes and colours. Textures and colours spontaneously arrive on the canvas, though structured layering is carefully thought out.
