About this artwork
In a city that never slept, the morning began as usual: with the hum of the streets and the roar of the first cars. But on this day, there was something unreal in the air. A fine mist hung between the skyscrapers, and in the golden light, enormous elephant shadows suddenly appeared on the facades.
No one knew where they came from. Some said they were memories of the city—old stories returning from the concrete and dust. Others believed the elephants… wandered like ghosts through the smog, visible only when the streets fell silent for a moment.
A red car stopped at an intersection. Its driver saw an elephant walk through a building, silently and majestically, as if glass were just air.
And although traffic quickly increased again, one thought remained:
that even in the hardest asphalt something wild lives – and sometimes, in the morning light, rises to the surface.
