About this artwork
Some time ago, I had the opportunity to spend a vacation on Kefalonia, a Greek island that isn't yet particularly touristy. Although I only spent a week there, the impressions were so strong that I absolutely wanted to capture some of them on a few canvases. For one thing, Kefalonia is home to some very barren landscapes, including trees that can't be found anywhere else in the world. often desolate landscape. In contrast, the turquoise sea shines with incredible splendor. Many beaches, mostly covered in white stones, line the crystal-clear water and form a stark contrast to the rest of the landscape. I was able to capture some of these impressions with my "kefalonia 4."

From file folder to canvas art / Where opposites meet
Precisely because my professional path was rather “dry,” I always sought balance in creative work.
After several years of experience in silk and watercolor painting, I developed a desire to express my freedom more fully. This is how I discovered my current great passion in acrylic painting and mixed media. I learned the craft from internationally renowned artists. I continued to educate myself in my own studio.
My images suggest the traces of the long process it often takes to find inner peace. They depict a broad spectrum of life—moments of joy, courage, and lightheartedness, but sometimes also moments of frustration, vulnerability, and chaos.
I don't want to provoke with my art, but rather build a bridge - from a stressful everyday life to a world in which our soul can find peace.
