About this artwork
The story of Sarah and Abraham - the founding parents of the Bible - inspired me to create this work. In Egypt, Sarah pretends to be Abraham's sister and flirts with the Pharaoh, thereby saving her husband's life. The love between the two is stronger than the burden of childlessness.
