About this artwork
It is an abstract depiction of a scene that shows a small town with vibrant colors and dynamic shapes. I wanted to convey a feeling of community and celebration of the simple joys in life - not without a bit of irony. It was taken on a Sunday in a small Bavarian town next to a country inn that serves Sunday roast to pensioners directly opposite the village church. This place exudes a bourgeois idyll that evokes feelings of home.
