Victoria Stagni is an experienced France-based artist who was born in Buenos-Aires to an Argentinian mother and Paraguayan father. Influenced by great Latin-American authors such as Gabriela Garcia Marquez and Alejo Carpentier, she harnesses inspiration from magical realism to compose works in which humans are placed amidst fantastical natural tableaus. The world she depicts is beastly, sometimes friendly, sometimes menacing, and always a strong representation of the crucial links between people, animals and nature. Stagni has exhibited her work in France and Cuba, in the United States and Australia.
