About this artwork
This unique sculptural relief is a multilayered, multicolor 3D printed work created from my original painting Manatees (2021, 100 × 120 cm).
A gentle manatee form emerges from a dense, dark-blue field—its surface weathered like seabed stone, threaded with pale currents and flickers of metallic light. Translated into depth and touch, the image becomes a quiet terrain of layered contours: soft and massive at once, calm yet marked by time. The dimensional… skin invites a slower gaze, where tenderness meets endurance, and the fragile poetry of marine life feels almost within reach.
