About this artwork
From this year's October ink challenge, with my original character Gen-X Grandpa, Ornate, was the word and I became fascinated with the character achieving saint hood, or super hero status.
In Ornate, I capture raw energy through bold ink lines and detailed pencil work, creating a powerful, commanding figure infused with sacred light. The comic and pop art style brings vibrancy and intensity, evoking awe and strength. It’s meant to spark a feeling… of empowerment and mysticism, transforming any space into a dynamic realm of presence and energy.
