About this artwork
When I painted this piece, I wanted to capture the feeling of stepping into a dreamlike meadow at dawn. The cool blues and greens hold the calm of early morning, while the bursts of red and pink blossoms carry the joy of renewal and possibility.”
I built this painting layer by layer, letting colours blend and blur into one another until they became more than landscape—they became atmosphere. The vibrant blossoms are my way of bringing energy into… a scene of quiet reflection.
This work is about balance for me—the stillness of mist against the liveliness of bloom. As I painted, I felt both peaceful and uplifted, and I hope it gives the same feeling to those who spend time with it.

Through layered washes and subtle shifts in tone, I create atmospheric spaces that are felt rather than defined—suggesting fragments of place, emotion, and time. The process is intuitive and material-led, allowing the surface to evolve gradually, often revealing traces of erosion, softness, and quiet transformation.
Rather than depicting specific locations, these works reflect an internal geography—where memory dissolves into light, and form emerges through absence as much as presence.
Each piece is part of an ongoing exploration of how we hold and experience fleeting moments: through atmosphere, through texture, and through the shifting language of the surface.
