La Penseuse is my imagination of a musing woman, full of thoughts and dreams about the world around us. In this image I wanted to convey a feeling of peace and timelessness. She sits very quietly, with one knee drawn up, while her hand rests on the back of her head. I focused her gaze forward, as if she were deep in thought.
