About this artwork
This cement sculpture captures the jagged, intense emotions of an inner struggle. I wanted to transform the fragility and resilience of the human spirit into a unique and new sculptural structure. The strong and dynamic edges, with their depths and heights, give the surface a vibrant energy and a distinct structure. It is an attempt to make the complexity of human emotions tangible and reflect it.

Wolfgang Eckert is a sculptor based in Germany whose works have been exhibited both nationally and in France. Fascinated by the connection between plastic-spatial relationships and the human expression that becomes evident in them, his pieces are an "observation of nature and exploration of individuality".
