About this artwork
In my work "Poppy Shape," I experimented with the vibrant energy and love of nature. The bright red poppies, captured in a digital medium, reflect the fleeting beauty and, at the same time, the powerful reawakening of nature. After a thorough apprenticeship as a color lithographer, I completed artistic studies under the Stuttgart painter Kurt Männel. Besides honing my skills with traditional media, this primarily honed my visual perception – conscious seeing, recognition, and a photographic eye. From this classical training, my current cross-media approach developed: I combine these traditional roots with modern technology and utilize a wide range of media such as analog drawing, photography, and digital art. My technique merges the tactile depth of analog with the boundless possibilities of digital innovation. Under my credo, "Analog meets digital," I create works that seamlessly blend traditional image-making with the digital future.
