About this artwork
Here is my biggest drawing to date! I am using my favorite techniques again: dry chalk rubbing, stencil, spontaneous drawing with a wooden pencil, charcoal applied on the edge, use of a blending stump… I also created orthogonal patterns using an eraser.
The drawings follow one another until a step back is taken to correct the composition while preserving the essential reserves.
A feeling of great freedom, of joy in experimenting. Guided by the… hand and the mediums nearby on the drawing table.
The result? A series of vignettes with indeterminate, enigmatic forms. Characters, fields of tension, galaxies, organisms share the forefront of the stage.
