About this artwork
A random piece I drew quickly in my sketchbook with one of my favourite mediums-Chalk Pastels.
The heavy outlining and bold colours was a change from my usual minimal and light style.
It was a mood drawing: meaning I was feeling frustrated and I took it out on my drawing.
Figures and portraits are a common recurrence and androgyny is almost a subconscious result to unplanned portrait drawings or paintings. Maybe a reflection of my abhorrence to… labels.
