It can be deposited in matter, cling to surfaces, and settle in the marks left by time and experience. Every trace becomes a form of recording, an archive in which past and present continue to dialogue. Matter absorbs, retains, and preserves not statically, but through continuous reworking. Remembering, in this sense, does not mean preserving intact, but transforming without losing its essence. What remains is never a faithful replica of the origin, but a new configuration. In the works collected in Memoria, memory takes shape as a living substance: something perceptible, almost touchable, in the density of the visible. A time made tangible, which continues to exist not as an image of the past, but as an active presence in the present.
