About the Celebrating Body Positivity sale

It has always been important to SINGULART to give our artists a platform to address the topics that matter most to them. This charitable auction will celebrate Body Positivity with 15 curated artworks from 15 international artists. The proceeds will be donated to the U.S. charity "Beauty Redefined". It is a topic that is dear to artists, because the human form has long been a source of inspiration for them. Yet the relationship between the self and the body is often more complex. In modern culture, the difficulty in feeling comfortable in our bodies is a widespread issue, and truly loving oneself for more than just our appearance can plague even the most outwardly confident. This is why this auction is celebrating feeling good in one's skin and showcasing different aesthetics and understandings of beauty.

How does a candle auction work?

The sale opens with available artworks at their original price. Then day after day the prices melt like candle wax, slowly dropping lower and lower until it is acquired. The longer you wait, the lower the price but the higher the risk of someone else acquiring the piece before you.
