About this artwork
This painting emerged from a period of pause and return. I began it in 2024, but it remained unresolved in my studio for months until I revisited it with a fresh perspective and renewed energy. That process of stepping away and allowing time to shape the work became central to its meaning.
Through layered acrylic, oil pastel, and earth pigments, I explore an intuitive approach that balances structure and spontaneity. The composition evolved through… moments of uncertainty, risk, and rediscovery, reflecting an internal landscape rather than a literal subject.
This piece speaks to patience, trust, and persistence. It invites the viewer to embrace pauses, to accept the unknown, and to recognize that clarity often arrives with time. It is a quiet reminder that growth, both in art and in life, unfolds in its own rhythm.
