I was inspired by the backgrounds of JMW Turner's paintings, especially the painting Snowstorm at Sea 1842.
I was looking for a way to represent a storm in the style of Turner and also the Impressionists.
Using the multiple exposure technique, I assembled several images of the sky taken at different times and reworked my photograph on my smartphone to obtain the effect shown in this photo.
I love stormy skies, yet I'm afraid of lightning and the… sound of thunder. They always attract me, and I observe them for a long time, completely fascinated by the light they emit.
Printed on aluminum for its light-reflecting properties, giving the image a vibrant effect. The aluminum brightens the image (see photos).
Visual under different lighting conditions.
Certificate of authenticity.
Slim black metal frame (made exclusively to order and to measure).
P.S.: I've also included some images printed on paper and framed.
