About this artwork
In this painting, I wanted to capture the fluidity and complexity of the human soul through semi-abstract forms. The intense use of warm, contrasting colors evokes deep emotions, while the two incomplete, undefined female figures seem to float and merge with the vibrant energy of the background, as if part of the colorful chaos surrounding them. Their expression is calm, with their eyes closed, almost dreamy, suggesting a sense of peace or introspection.…
I sought to reproduce an abstract, expressionist atmosphere with the use of a palette knife and thick brushstrokes, creating dynamism by creating textures and layers of color. The palette is incredibly rich and vibrant, and then there's that shimmering gold that pops up here and there, adding a supernatural, ethereal effect. I painted with passion to convey a sense of movement and transformation, bringing vitality and dynamism to any space this work is placed in.
