About this artwork
A continuation of her Hurdles series, she was motivated by feeling closed-in by circumstances but knowing intuitively that there are options. The Expanding Hurdles or architectural beam-like elements represent the obstacles we all face but know that we have options, represented by the openings, the vastness of skies and the different paths one can select to follow.
