About this artwork
In my artwork I combine the primal power of encaustic wax and brass metal with the lightness of abstraction. I invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a world where structure and chaos, clarity and mystery coexist. This painting is intended to bring a dynamic energy into your home and inspire reflection every day. It is my personal play with material and emotion, a visual poem designed to inspire and enchant.

Brigitte Schmitz-Kirschbaum began painting in oils 25 years ago, learning from various art teachers. After initially painting representationally, she later switched to abstract painting and, among other things, refined her palette knife techniques. When her interest in mixed media arose, she acquired knowledge of techniques and materials in various seminars, workshops, and master classes in the USA, Canada, Germany, and Switzerland. Brigitte Schmitz-Kirschbaum draws her inspiration from nature, which continually fascinates her with its variety of colors, shapes, and patterns.
