About this artwork
My alcohol ink works emerge from the tension between control and letting go. The process is only partially controllable. Pigments flow, combine, and develop structures that cannot be fully planned. For me, this is precisely the essence of these works: trusting the process and allowing space for what wants to emerge.
This work is titled Infinite Silence and is inspired by the silent vastness of the sky.
The different shades of blue and flowing… bronze transitions evoke a moment of daydreaming, the moment when you look up into the vastness of the sky, and for a moment everything slows down.
The colors blend gently into one another, opening up spaces and creating a sense of spaciousness that allows the eye to wander calmly through the image.
Infinite Silence invites you to pause, let your thoughts wander freely, and lose yourself in this silent, boundless expanse.
