About this artwork
Limited Edition of 10 (10 out 10 available)
Chrome, steel, and glass — fused into a vehicle called Harley-Davidson — always evoke genuine admiration and awe, even in hardened grown men.
No one would argue that a Harley-Davidson is a work of art in itself, a possession reserved for those with a certain character — not everyone is meant to own one.
This abstract close-up shows that even a fragment of a Harley-Davidson can mesmerize and spark the… imagination.
Ordinary people might pass by without noticing.
But the harmony of shapes, details, and mechanical reflections in chrome and glass forms a unique vision for those who dare to see beyond.
Dmitry Rusak's works have repeatedly received international recognition, ranking among the top ten in the world at the SWPA competition, and becoming finalists at international competitions and festivals in Cannes, London, and Moscow. They have also been featured by National Geographic and participated in large-scale exhibitions such as the Sony World Photography Awards. Many of his works are in private collections in the USA, Shanghai, Paris, and Minsk.
Due to an injury, D.Rusak has retired from photography since 2022.
In his works, the familiar loses its recognizability – reflections, distortions of light and shadow transform objects into undefined forms. His style is the result of an illness, visual agnosia – a condition in which a person periodically loses the ability to recognize objects, and this has shaped his unique style.
The Singulart gallery features only original, unique, and signed works by Dmitry Rusak, and you can become their sole owner.
