About this artwork
In this expressionist work, I refer to Caravaggio. This 16th century Italian painter highlighted a certain naturalism and particularly marked the spirit with his work of contrasts. Creations as impetuous as their author which have established themselves in history. Using fluid techniques I wanted to make the different colored planes float on the paper. Nuances and effects combine, perhaps reflecting human emotions a little. The soft shades contrast…
with the dark ones, bringing an internal rhythm. This homage is quite unclassifiable, a surreal landscape that can lead you to contemplation. Information: The signature and title are on the back. The 325 g/m² paper is unalterable and acid-free. Made on a 32x24 cm sheet and mounted in a 40x30 cm white mat. This work can be framed in a frame (with coaster) of your choice. You can combine it with another creation from the series.
