About this artwork

I loved to work on this abstract landscape painting on canvas. I was drawn by the idea of a place to live, engulfed in sunlight and warmth. With its pale blue and gold, I love the charm and gracefulness of this cloudscape. The painting reflects the light especially in the middle part, where I used golden metal pigments. It brings an uplifting and fresh mood all around, and it has both an evergreen and a very modern character.

The original artwork… on wrapped canvas, is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands and metal pigments.
Size: 47.2x35.4x0.7" (120x90x1.8cm). The finishing varnish is glossy, to emphasise the metal reflections.
It's signed on the back by the author and ready to hang.

Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. Due to the metallic pigments, when hit by the light it may shine in different ways depending on the direction of the light.

My work explores the interplay between nature's elements and human resilience, drawing inspiration from clouds, ocean waves, and landscapes. These forms reflect life's challenges and transformations.

Through layered textures and organic shapes, I capture transitions where calm meets chaos, strength meets upheaval. My style combines soft tones with vibrant contrasts, highlighting the balance between adaptability and strength.

I invite viewers to connect with these abstract landscapes, celebrating our shared journey of growth and resilience. Influences include Zao Wou-Ki, Julie Mehretu, traditional Chinese ink painters, and architects like Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry.
