About this artwork
On a white canvas deliberately left to breathe, Synapse végétal deploys an organic network of lines, stains, and drips that seem to respond to each other like the impulses of a nervous system. The gesture is both fluid and precise: nervous projections, verdant interlacing, superimposed layers that reveal transparencies. The palette is structured around chlorophyll greens, touches of gold, rooty browns, and blacks that anchor the composition. Bright,… almost electric flashes interrupt this organic cartography in places, like vital discharges.
This work, far from representing a real landscape, invents a language where the plant and the neuronal come together. It can be read as an allegory of living connections, between roots and synapses, where the plant becomes thought and thought becomes sap.
GABAN obtains the PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE OF PICTORIAL ART in 2025: its rating is visible on i-CAC; He carries within him the memory of gestures, the rigor of vision, and the freedom of pigments, and it is outside the academies that he forges his language: he lets himself be guided by intuition, matter, and gesture. Acrylic imposes itself on him as his preferred medium, for its ability to combine fluidity, brilliance, and thickness. In 2013, a personal rupture paved the way for creation. Then came the EMERGENCE period (2013–2017) made up of dense, mineral and telluric canvases. The CONVERGENCE period begins in 2025. Each work becomes a field of tension between chaos and order, light and shadow, excess and erasure. To reveal this plurality of voices, the Convergence period is structured around six conceptual series. Each painting is an exploration and a manifesto of humanity His complete works can be viewed at https://gaban-art.com
