About this artwork
This figurative painting depicts a reclining woman whose figure remains only vaguely recognizable due to strong distortions and cubist fragmentation. The woman as a motif is at the center of my artistic exploration—at the same time, I celebrate the dissolution of the familiar in favor of a new, multifaceted perception. This creates a challenge for the viewer: With each glance, new details and interpretations emerge, and the image remains in constant…

Here, too, my distinctive style is evident: powerful lines, sculptural textures created by filler, and the interplay of acrylic and oil. I incorporated clippings from the Küsnachter Zeitung as a background to create additional tension and a second layer of meaning.
