"Proper Fit is a ceramic sculpture shaped by discipline, regulation, and quiet authority. The sleeveless garment recalls a uniform, defined by sharp seams, buttoned pockets, and a tightened belt that gathers the form into order. Its light, speckled surface echoes worn fabric and repeated use, carrying traces of service and instruction softened by time.
Empty of a figure, the garment becomes a vessel of expectation and conduct. Proper Fit reflects… how propriety is worn and learned, fitting not only the body, but the role assigned to it."
