About this artwork
I visit this special place as often as I can. Here at the northern tip of Jutland, I experience the vastness of the coastal landscape, the two seas, and the raw power of nature firsthand. The weather and time of day constantly create new impressions, ranging from wild to gentle, from vibrant colors to subtle hues. On calm summer days, the clear view of the horizons of the North and Baltic Seas, as well as the dazzling coastal sands, is particularly… impressive. You are alone with yourself and the elements, experiencing the hike in an almost meditative state. I repeatedly return to this motif in my paintings, so deeply impressed am I by this place. With its medium format and soft color palette, "Land's End" fits well into modern interior design.
« I want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great tension, I look at what surrounds me. »
Hasso Heybrock is an artist based in Germany who has exhibited his works nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Spain. He believes that looking at a painting means walking into an unknown adventure through the picture, where hidden emotions come to the surface. For Heybrock, making the adventure as intense and exciting as possible for the viewer is his main challenge as a painter.
