About this artwork
In this sculpture, I played with the transparency of resin and the interplay of cement and iron wire to depict the fluid transition between body and space. The delicate wire body appears almost weightless, while the solid base contrasts. My goal was to unite the fragility and strength of humanity and bring a unique energy to any space. I was fascinated by depicting the beauty and grace of a female body that appears to float in water. At the same…
time, I also wanted to convey what this female figure feels when immersing herself in the element of water: a sense of joie de vivre.
