About this artwork
In my work I use abstract shapes and a vibrant palette of acrylic paints to create a dancing skyline. The energetic strokes and harmony of colors reflect the vibrant vitality of a city. This painting is an expression of the dynamic interaction between urban space and the emotions it evokes in us. It is intended to bring joy and a touch of adventure to every home.

Irmtraut Behrens, an artist from Bremen, uses acrylic paint and canvas, but started with pastel chalk on cardboard. Her palette ranges from erotic images of women, abstract works to animal images. In 1999 she moved to Husum on the beautiful North Sea coast with its wonderful light and cloud formations.
